The best way to know how a golf course plays or what the clubhouse is like or if the golf staff is friendly and courteous is to talk to golfers that have played the golf course. On this edition of Tee It Up Grand Strand we look at some recent reviews given to Diamondback Golf Club at Woodland Valley. General Manager, Patrick Wilkinson and his staff take great pride in being a golf facility that golfers feel comfortable at from the moment they arrive on property to the time they say goodbye. The staff strives to provide excellent customer service at every turn. From the bag drop to the golf shop to the golf course to the bar and grill each and every employee makes it their personal goal to ensure golfers and glad they chose to come to Diamondback that day.
Chip said “Played Diamondback with friends as part of a golf package. The course was in good condition. The fairways are on the tight side and there is a lot of water to contend with. It was still fun and had challenge.”
“This has always been a great course but in the past 6 months it’s conditions has gone from good to excellent” remarked Susan. “I play out there a lot and have watched the improvements take hold. It is a challenging course that offers tees for every skill level along with a practice green and driving range for a little warm up. The “Snake” Bar offers a nice friendly stop for a beer and a sandwich after golf. The staff is warm and welcoming. You’ll want to come back again.”
Marcia from Canada beamed “This course was fun!!! There is a lot of water everywhere! It was challenging but fun!!!!! We stopped after nine and had a sandwich, bag of chips and a beer it was great!!! Very friendly staff.”
“What I really liked about this course was that you did not see any other fairways from the hole you were playing. The course is spread out and is cut through a forest. Wayward shots into the thick forest meant a lost ball. The greens were true and the course was in excellent shape. Being out of the way from the hustle of Myrtle Beach may play more relaxing than the close tee times of too many of the other courses. For the price, this course was a very pleasant surprise!” – Michael
Looks like Patrick and the gang are doing one heck of a job at Diamondback Golf Club….but we already knew that!
